Refunds Policy

We do not normally give refunds if you:
• simply change your mind, or
• make a wrong decision.

We may offer a refund, exchange, warranty repair or credit where goods have a Major problem:
• are faulty
• have been wrongly described
• are significantly different from a sample shown to you.

Nearly all issues would be Minor problems for us to fix and can be quickly resolved under warranty repair or replacement.

to download the trial version at www.nuevo.com.au
• We do not warrant or suggest suitabilty of third party software

Warranties:
• New hardware has a 1 year, back to base, warranty.
• Refurbrished items have a 1 month, back to base, warranty.
• You should call our support line 1800 336 559 if you are
having trouble. If it can not be resolved, we may suggest you return
it for warranty repair or replacement.
• Returns are strictly by arrangement only.
• Units returned for warranty repair may experience data loss during the repair process and preserving data is never guaranteed. We require that you back up all your important data before sending a unit to us. Please make backups.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase

Please Backup Your Data
If software was included as a bonus with your purchase then its important that you back up the installation files (c:\TouchPOS Setup) and make regular back ups of your data (via the Admin menu). Software loaded as "Bonus" is gratis and not part of the sale. It is there as a courtesy option and you have bought hardware only. You may use the Bonus sofftware or other POS software of your choosing that is compatiable with the unit. You should understand we don't know about third party software and don't support it from our helpdesk. We don't warrant third partys software's suitability or compatability. It is up to you to determine if the software meets your needs and to find an alternative if it doesn't. Unless specified on your sales docket, you have purchased hardware only and relevant warranties apply to the hardware only. We will be helpful, but maintainance and support of your software and hardware are ultimately your responsibility.

If, for any reason, you are not happy with "bonus" software then use something else. Not wanting to avail yourself of the Bonus software does not void the sale or constitute grounds for a refund. Your remedy in terms of software failure is to reinstall the software and retrieve your data from back up.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
